1 day Tsavo East safari from Mombasa is a short safari that offers you the wonderful game drive in Tsavo east National Park with the pick from your hotel or airport in Mombasa. This is a guided tour that takes you on a wildlife viewing adventure exploring diverse landscapes and spotting the big five mammals and spotting various bird species.
This one day safari offers a thrilling experience, but you are reminded that it’s a relatively short time to explore the park, and if possible consider a multi-day safari for more immersive experience.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Tsavo East National Park.
On the first day of the safari at 6:00 am your safari guide from Focus East Africa Tour will pick you up from Moi International Airport in Mombasa or from your hotel in Mombasa, welcome you and brief you about the one day safari. After the briefing you will embark on your journey to Tsavo East National Park which is 2.5 to 3 hours.
Upon your arrival at 8:30 am you will start your game drive in Tsavo East in the morning game drive while exploring the park’s diverse landscape and a variety of the animal species like big five mammals like lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos and leopards and among others like giraffes, zebras, antelopes and spotting other bird species.
After the game drive at 12:30 pm you will go for the lunch break, you will either have your lunch at a designated picnic area or at a lodge within the park, this is amazing as you enjoy your lunch while taking the scenic views of the biodiversity in the park.
After lunch at 1:30 pm you will go for another game drive in the afternoon, here you will spot the different animals species that you missed during the morning game drive. You will continue as you are exploring different parts of the park and spotting more wildlife. You can as well visit the famous Galana River and look out for other species like crocodiles and hippos.
From 4:00 pm-departure.
After a long day/ afternoon game drive, your safari guide will transfer you back to Mombasa, he will drop you to your hotel in the evening thus bringing back memories of your amazing safari adventure. End of the safari.
